This Thursday (August 8) is Open Data Meet.06 7pm in Wan Chai.

Come out and join us, and feel free to bring a friend.

08/08! A lucky day to have an ODHK meetup! Whether you’re already familiar with Open Data or just want to find out what it is, come to our regular meetup (happens every 3 weeks), come out and meet fellow Hong Kong Open Data enthusiasts.KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Charles Mok (莫乃光), Member of the Legislative Council for the IT Functional Constituency, will be gracing us with his presence and giving us a very valuable insight into how the struggle for opening HK data looks from the political front line.

Other topics and speakers to be confirmed, but will likely including:

  • Wikisym report
  • OKFN: Open Knowledge Foundation and how they can help ODHK
  • What is machine readability?
If you’re interested or insistent in talking about any of these or anything else (hopefully relevant!), get in touch with Guy:
